Meet Joseph

Joseph Nazari (Nazarian) emerges as a profoundly innovative artist, his creations standing testament to the evolution of his artistry, skillfully blending Anamorphism and WPAP into his sculptures. Hailing from Tehran, Iran, he grew up in a Christian Armenian middle-class family, distinguishing himself with remarkable creativity and leadership qualities. Renowned as both the soccer team captain and class speaker, Joseph consistently pursued improvement and innovation.

His educational journey led him to study industrial accounting and earn a master's degree in industrial management. Beyond formal education, Joseph's thirst for knowledge prompted enrollment in diverse courses, expanding his expertise. 

Relocating to the United States in 1986, Joseph embarked on an entrepreneurial venture, founding a company specializing in packaging and thermoforming. Throughout his career, he has secured over 30 patents, both in the US and internationally. He has founded more than 20 companies, expanding into markets like Mexico and China. His contributions to green packaging technology have earned recognition and awards from major retailers such as Costco and Walmart.

In 2007, he revolutionized the US market with the introduction of the first sustainable packaging system, earning recognition from the Governor of California, environmental agencies, and magazines. The technology, licensed worldwide, contributed significantly to pollution reduction.

 

In 2008, he created and pattented a packing industry shuttle machine that was 35% more energy-efficient than the existing machinery on the market.

Joseph's life took a transformative turn after major surgery in 2013. Grateful for life, he found beauty in diverse creations, inspiring him to embark on a new artistic journey. Two of his sculptures, "LIFE IS NOT A CUBE" and "LIFE IS GOOD," stand as the pinnacle of his artistic fulfillment.

Acknowledging his wife Evik's pivotal role in his artistic success, Joseph expresses gratitude for her unwavering support, recognizing her contribution to his newfound life.

Beyond art, Joseph's philanthropy shines, supporting various nonprofit organizations and holding a lifetime membership with the 911 foundation.

His inventive spirit extends beyond art into product design, with his medical device, Carpal-Aid, gaining recognition in LA Times and winning awards in the United States and Europe, available in major drugstores and hospitals.

Joseph credits his son Bernie for consistent technical support in his art studio, handling 3D printing setups, laser technology, and creating a special visual focal point observation system for his art gallery.
